Hormones are powerful substances that control multiple functions
throughout the body. Hormone levels should be sufficient and balanced.
Too much or too little is not conducive to long term emotional, mental and bodily health. |
|
Salvia testing for hormones represents the tissue concentration, the free, biologically "active" hormone fraction, while the major part of the hormones in blood is protein bound and "inactive". So salvia tests for hormones is far more superior then blood and urine measurements to determine diagnosis and pursuit of any treatment to improve one's health. It is simple, non-invasive, and can be done in the privacy of your own home at the time considered most appropriate for the respective hormone.
It can help monitor changes in hormone levels associated with aging and hormonal intervention
such as hormonal supplementation, herbal supplementation, diet, etc.
The salvia hormone panel is worth considering for males if you are concerned about:
- Impaired libido
- Erectile dysfunction
- Decreased muscle mass
- Decreased vigor, low energy
- Baldness and / or extremity hair thinning
- Fat accumulation around the waist
- Urinary symptoms: pain and/or frequency; urgency; interrupted stream
- Change in sleeping habits
- Lack of enthusiasm for life
- Increase in bad cholesterol, decrease in good cholesterol

How the Test is conducted
In the privacy of your own home, you will prepare and collect 1(one) sample for the male hormone panel. You will send the sample directly to the lab for them to process. The test results will be sent to me for review and then forwarded on to you. Once you receive the results, a 15 minute phone consultation is included to determine an appropriate treatment plan.
Hormone panels are best used in conjunction with a hair analysis. The reason for this is that optimal mineral levels are needed to correct abnormal hormonal imbalances. The results of both tests give a more complete picture of what is needed to improve your health.
